What a great start to the month of March with Pastor Patrick House and his wonderful church family in Odessa Texas. Great fellowship with a church that believes in soul-winning here at home and around the world. Thank you Pastor House and to everyone for being a great blessing to our family.
Oh my, what a busy week we had. We started in Garrett Texas with Pastor Jim Lang Sunday morning, then up to Sallisaw Oklahoma with Pastor Chad Owens for the evening service. Brother Lang and his dear church were such a blessing and it was good to see God moving in the life of brother Wren who surrenders to the ministry when the invitation was given. What a great time we had to start the missions conference at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in the evening service. It was a joy to meet the Smith Family, their singing was such a blessing to us and we had great fellowship with them and everyone after the service.
From Sallisaw we got home at 1:45 am, took a nap, and headed for Odem Texas down by Corpus Christi at 10:00 am. We arrived at Peoples Baptist Church where we were going to stay at 3:45 pm and got ready to start off the missions revival at Bible Baptist Church of Odem with Pastor Matt Sandoval. Pastor Sandoval and his church family were such a blessing and we had such great fellowship with everyone. Our old friends Pastors Paul Frankum and Daniel Martinez were on hand and it was a joy to catch up with themas well. It was a joy to meet missionaries Matthew and Amanda Emigh to New York City, Kevin and Debbie Noles to Uganda, and James Simmons to Senegal. There was a lot of great singing and preaching all week, we hated to see it end. For the second time this week we had someone surrender to the ministry, thank you brother Thomas for accepting God’s call on your life. We did manage to squeeze in a visit to the Gulf of America and an afternoon with the Martinez family too. We got back home late Thursday afternoon and then had a wonderful time of food and fellowship with Missionaries Kevin and Lilly Gasque, Chris and Irene Williams, Don and Linda Leaf, and Bob and Maureen Hoffman. Talk about a full week!! We are only half way through March and I can’t wait to see what else God has in store for us.
What a great week this one has been. It was such a joy to spend time with my friend Pastor Russell James, his wife, and his wonderful church family. Everyone was so kind, and we enjoyed the fellowship with everyone. Noah quoted some of the scripture for my sermon and always does such a great job. We dropped in at Rebecca Creek Baptist Church for their evening service and everyone there was such a blessing to us, and I am sorry we didn’t get any pictures. The Wednesday night service was just as enjoyable, and it was great to spend time with Pastor Luke Martinez and his family at West Main Baptist Church in Henderson, Tx. Serenity and I sang and then my wife got to teach the children about Jonah and the whale.
As the month was not yet over, we had a great time in Bowie Tx with Pastor Greg Shaw at Central Baptist Church where it was a joy to see the Holy Spirit moving in people’s lives and the alter full. Thank you for such a wonderful time and is was great to get to meet everyone. Equally as exciting was our time with Pastor Rob Catuto at Victory Baptist Church in Weatherford, Tx. What a great church that has a heart for missions and we so enjoyed the fellowship with everyone. It was great to share a meal with Brother Woods and his wife and thank you for loving missionaries.
What a great ending to a busy March as we spent five days with Pastor Jeff York and his wonderful church family. We had a great time door knocking on Thursday and then passed out free bibles on Saturday with five people being saved. Two more were saved during the services and Sunday saw some of those being baptized. Pastor Darren Robinson had great messages every day and God blessed greatly through the church’s faith promise missions. Thank you to everyone for the great food and fellowship and we can’t wait to see all of you again. Also, in attendance was the missionaries to the Chech Republic the Azwar family, to the Dominican Republic the Achavarria family, and great singing from Caroline Villareal with her family in attendance from Cleveland Texas, and an appearance from my friend Pastor RA Smith from Fort Worth Baptist Temple. It was an honor to share God’s word as I preached in the Spanish service on Sunday. A big thank you to everyone that made this week such a blessing to our family, and you are always in our prayers. There is of course way more pictures than normal but when you spend five days with a church with so many ministries to be a part of there will be a lot of pictures, but we were not able to post all of them.
