We had such a good time in Cuenca, a city of 600,000 people in the Andes Mountains. We had a couple of opportunities to pass out gospel tracts, even to the firemen and police officers after we took their pictures.
The drive to Cuenca takes you through the Cajas National Park at an elevation over 13,000 feet above sea level. Here are some of the pictures around Cuenca showing the generators on the streets as they were experiencing rolling blackouts as the drought effected the hydro-electric facilities that power the country. I also included a picture I took of a boulder in the city that had a stencil of Satan with 666 which shows the wickedness present even in such a tranquil setting, even in a Catholic dominated society.

Below are some of the people in Cuenca, many of which sell prodoce and fruits on the streets to support their families or are street performers. The military are always on the streets and the kids got a picture with Diego. My wife and I took the opportunity to get some needed dental work done while there and the last picture below shows brother Johnny and his wife Bev, he is a national pastor. We were also able to meet a facilitator and a Visa Attorney while there in preparation for getting in country once our support has been raised.
